Consumer Council Reaching Out (CCRO) is committed to providing local and national mental health resources, information, and consumers' stories by:
- Providing increasing awareness of mental health anti-stigma campaigns
- Encouraging mental health recovery
- Involving consumers and the public in decision making, legislative advocacy, and program input
The North Country Community Mental Health Consumer Council represents the three major service populations: individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, adults with mental illness, and children with severe emotional disturbances. The local service area includes: Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet, Kalkaska and Otsego Counties. Family members are eligible to serve as well as representatives of advocacy groups. Inquiries for membership are always being accepted.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at NCCMH's Petoskey office, located at 1420 Plaza Drive.
